Bangi Golf Resort Restaurant Offering Buffet Ramadhan 2017

Ramadhan approaching soon. Not only Malays celebrating it, non-Malays in Malaysia loves the food during Ramadhan because it shows the culture of Malaysia having different food from different ethnic and all of us enjoyed it as 1 Malaysian. I was fortunate being invited for the media food review at Bangi Golf Resort ("BGR") Restaurant recently. It had a great dining place with its panoramic view of the 27-hole designed golf course and refreshing air. BGR is set to charm everyone with their signature Buffet Ramadhan happening soon from 29 May 2017 to 23 June 2017.
Known for serving up a gastronomic buffet that offers both variety and quality with over 200 dishes, BGR Restaurant offer a sumptuous buffet spread featuring popular Malay, Western and Oriental cuisine. Their popular Cooking Showcase highlighted the Kambing Bakar and Sup Kambing Mamak where all of us had been served up with portions of freshly carved roast lamb and piping hot bowls of mutton stew. The Beef and Chicken Satay were freshly grilled as well as Fried Kway Teow and Fried Mee Mamak which were wok-fried "live".

Savour BGR Restaurant's signature dishes at the Western Section which feature dishes with a gastronomic touch such as Sous Vide Eggs with Mushroom Espuma. I had it the first time and fall in love with this unique dish.

Family favourite's such as Chicken Lasagna and Golden Sand Spaghetti Carbonara for a classic option and not to miss this year's new addition of Peri-Peri Chicken Drumlets which promise to tantalise your taste buds.

For the Malay cuisine, the kitchen team is proud to present Nasi Lemak Istimewa. This humble Malay national rice dish is accompanied with a sumptuous selection which include Tendang Daging Taik Minyak, Sambal Sotong Kembang, Ayam Bercili Masak Ketumbar, Ikan Masak Asam Kari and Telur Rebus Goreng Masak Sambal Tomato.
BGR Restaurant had perfected the technique of preparing Hainanese Chicken Rice using the latest technology in its menu creation for Oriental Cuisine. Each piece of the chicken is cooked just to the point of doneness that gave them a succulent texture. The fluffy grain rice are enriched with rendered chicken fat which leave them glistening and flavourful. Complete it with the fresh garlic and ginger chili sauce for a subline experience.
At BGR Restaurant's Buffet Ramadhan, desserts are a must try with favourites such as Spanish Churros with Thick Chocolate Sauce and Signature Italian Tiramisu. There are selections of homemade Malay kuih as well as a variety of puddings, agar-agar and tropical fruits. Be spoilt for choice with creations such as Serawa Durian, Assorted Swiss Rolls (Red Velvet, Orange Jaffa & Macha Chocolate, Lychee Rose Cake, Tropical Nectar, Caramel Surprise and Banana. Indeed a new range of desserts that have been added in 2017 that guarantee you a feast on a sweet note.
