Best Buffet at Sungai Petani

I always bring my children to explore so that they able to gain some knowledge during their growing up period. During the recent school holiday, I brought my children to Cinta Sayang Resort which located at Sungai Petani for a 3 days 2 nights stay. It is not very far from KL. It took us 4.5 hours journey from KL to here.
During our stay at Cinta Sayang Resort, I had chosen to try out their buka puasa buffet on the 2nd night of our stay after seeing the variety of dishes offered. As you can see, they had more than 15 types of cold and hot drinks.

As for the Appetizer, there are more than 20 types which include Ulam-Ulam Kampung, Kerabu, Sambal Warisan, Jeruk Madu, Keropok Rangup and Ikan Masin Penyedap Rasa.

For the main course, do check out their Nasi Dhall Kari Poke, Nasi Putih Kukus, Ayam Madu Berempah, Keli Masak Lemak, Daging Rendang Pedas, Sweet & Sour Prawn, Sambal Tempe with Anchovies, Cendawan Masak Lemak with Squids, Mixed Vegetables Oyster Sauce and Telur Masak Kicap.

There are Sup Burung Puyuh, Seafood Chowder with Bread & Butter fresh Satay at the Satay Stall where you can get your Chicken Satay, Beef Satay, Perut Kambing, Nasi Impit, Timun, Bawang and Kuah Kacang.

Cinta Sayang Resort allocated different stall to serve different food. All the stalls were handle by different Chef who will made the food on the spot with limited quantity to maintain the quality and the freshness of the food. You can get Roti John, Chicken & Beef Kebab, beef & chicken patty, fish and chicken fillet that served with with salad sauce & condiments.

For those who opt for noodles or rojak, you can get it at the stall. They served mee curry, mee soup, laksa, fruits rojak and pasembur with condiments. At fried noodles stall, there are Char Kuey Teow, meehoon and mee with condiments.
Remember to check out the variety of grilled fish i.e. Kembong, Cencaru Sumbat, Pari, Talapia Air Asam and Sambal Kicap.
The Resort also served the Whole Lamb on Pits. The whole lamb were grilled and it was finished up within 2 hours. There are BBQ Chicken & Corn on Cob that served with variety of sauce i.e. Mint, Black Pepper, Musroom, BBQ and Sambal Kerisik too.
The resort also served Bubur Pulut Hitam, Bubur Jagung, Bubur Kacang Hijau, Pengat Labu, Pengat Pisang, Bubur Cha-Cha, Pengat Nangka, Penget Keledek, Bubur Gandum and Bubur Barli.

The Ice Stall where the Ice Kacang, Cendol, Lye Chee Kang and Ice Cream on Cone with Condiments were served. I saw most children will opt for the cone ice cream with lots of toppings on top.
Meal will not complete without some sweet dessert. There are assorted of French pastries, selection of jelly & pudding, butter, cheese & chocolate cakes and assorted fruits. For traditional dessert, there are Curry Puff, Tepong Talam, Apam Puri, Cucur Badak, Lepat Pisang, Kuih Lapis, Abok-Abok, Apa, Gula Hangus, Buah Melaka, Popia Basah, Seri Muka, Talam Jagung and Kuih Koci.

The area is big and you can choose to dine-in at their air-cond ballroom or outdoor with fantastic view of the golf area. I enjoyed the variety of the delicious meals from the Appetiser, Main Course till the Dessert that was prepared according to Eastern, Western and traditional meal. Some came with family and friends to enjoy the best buffet for the Ramadhan at Sungai Petani, Kedah at a comfortable Resort.
