Tmall World’s “Double 12” 24-hour Holiday Sale Launched in Malaysia

·  Alibaba’s mega 24-hour sale event will feature millions of products with special discounts available only on mobile Taobao on 12 December 2017.
·   Hundreds of prizes, giveaways and fun-filled activities await shoppers at Tmall World’s “Double 12 Secret Santa Box” 3-Day roadshow here in Malaysia from today until the 12th December 2017.

Following the success of 11.11, Alibaba Group’s Tmall World (天猫海外), serving over 100 million overseas Chinese and beyond, launched its ‘Double 12”, 24-hour holiday sale in conjunction with the festive season! Millions of products will feature special discounts and will be available to Malaysian consumers via the Mobile Taobao app on the 12th of December 2017. A special 3-day celebration in the lead up to the platform’s mega holiday sale event was planned to encourage Malaysians to spread the Holiday cheer when they shop for their friends and loved ones.
“Double 12”, or more commonly known as “12.12” was first introduced in 2012 by Alibaba. The holiday sales event will run from midnight on 12 December 2017 for 24 hours. Among the many exclusive promotions available to Malaysians during the “Double 12” celebrations are:
