CONTRIBUTE TO GOOD CAUSE WITH LE MARCHÉ DE NOËL


The annual French-themed Christmas charity bazaar continues to raise funds for underprivileged Malaysian children in its 8th year with the target of RM200,000

Have you ever wondered how a child from a less privileged background and afflicted with a life-threatening medical condition lives their life every day? Simple joys that most of us do not place much thoughts on, such as going for a picnic with family or a visit to the Cameron Highlands can be someone else’s wish come true, especially for the less fortunate children.
These were some of the wishes granted for the disadvantaged kids with the funds raised by Le Marché de Noël, an annual French-themed Christmas charity bazaar which will be kicking off its 8th installation this 29 November 2018 at the Glasshouse at Seputeh, from 10 am until 8:30 pm.

As part of the continuous philanthropic effort by the Le Marché de Noël committee, they have set a target of raising RM200,000 from this year’s bazaar. All the proceeds will once again be channeled to Make-A-Wish Malaysia and A-Heart for A-Heart organizations to provide aid for children who are affected by critical medical conditions, as well as to enable them have their innermost wishes fulfilled. Upon the successful raising of the targeted amount this year, Le Marché de Noël would have raised a total of RM1.2 million for underprivileged children with illnesses in Malaysia since its inception in 2011.

Certainly not a Christmas bazaar to be missed, Le Marché de Noël boasts 70 uniquely curated vendors where bazaar goers can shop to their hearts’ content with a diverse range of offerings such as handcrafted goods, interesting decorative items, stunning handmade accessories as well as gastronomic delights.

This time around, Le Marché de Noël is all the more special as they also extend their support for social causes run by several social enterprise vendors who provide empowerment and financial assistance for the marginalized communities, amongst others.

The Kid From The Big Apple Held its Official Original Soundtrack Launch

Three Pictures Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian award-winning production company renowned for the 2016 hit film, The Kid From The Big Apple, held its official original soundtrack launch recently at Setiawalk, Puchong. This makes them the first in the nation to execute such a concept of having an album launch specifically for a film.  The newly released album consist of a compilation of the theme songs, background scores and other audio tracks in Mandarin and English. These songs are from both the first film as well as the upcoming sequel, which is set to hit cinemas nationwide on November 16, 2017, followed by other countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.  Titled “Togetherness,” the album gives fans a unique chance of hearing a preview of the songs in the upcoming sequel as well as reliving some of the hit songs from the first film.
