Sunway Lagoon Rewards Loyal Patrons

It was all smiles for three lucky visitors to Sunway Lagoon, who bagged the top three prizes in the theme park’s recent contest for loyal patrons as part of its Passport To Your Best Day Ever initiative. Nur Hawa, 32, claimed the top prize of a trip for two to Hong Kong while Redzuan Ahmad, 37, won an iPad as the second prize winner. Meanwhile, Said Zainal Said Husin, 31, won the third prize of a shopping voucher worth RM500.
The winners received their respective prizes from Sean Choo, General Manager of Sunway Lagoon at a special ceremony held at Surf Beach.
The contest, which ran for 2 months from 1st October until 31st December 2016 was open to all Sunway Lagoon Passport Holders. To be eligible to be in the running for the top prizes, which were selected on a lucky draw basis, participants had to collect five stamps over the two month period, one each for every visit to Malaysia’s premier theme park. All eligible entries with five stamps were included in the running to win the three prizes.

“We were really overwhelmed with the response to this contest, as we received over 5000 entries throughout the duration of the contest. On average, Sunway Lagoon welcomes an average of 2000 to 5000 visitors through our doors, and many of these are repeat visitors. This contest was our way of thanking and rewarding our loyal patrons, which have made us one of the best theme parks in the region. And visitors can rest assured that in future, we will continue to have similar programmes and promotions to reward our loyal visitors,” said Sean Choo, General Manager of Sunway Lagoon.

The Passport To Your Best Day Ever is the membership loyalty programme of Sunway Lagoon and is available for purchase online at RM 450 with unlimited entries to the park.

The Kid From The Big Apple Held its Official Original Soundtrack Launch

Three Pictures Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian award-winning production company renowned for the 2016 hit film, The Kid From The Big Apple, held its official original soundtrack launch recently at Setiawalk, Puchong. This makes them the first in the nation to execute such a concept of having an album launch specifically for a film.  The newly released album consist of a compilation of the theme songs, background scores and other audio tracks in Mandarin and English. These songs are from both the first film as well as the upcoming sequel, which is set to hit cinemas nationwide on November 16, 2017, followed by other countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.  Titled “Togetherness,” the album gives fans a unique chance of hearing a preview of the songs in the upcoming sequel as well as reliving some of the hit songs from the first film.
