Get Up and Groove with the Exciting New ZooMoo Groove Series
Original
production encouraging children to learn through music, song, and dance
ZooMoo Networks,
the only channel devoted to educating kids about nature and animals is premiering
its latest original series – ZooMoo
Groove. This fun sing-along series introduces kids to animals in each of the
world’s habitats while encouraging kids to get up and sing and dance.
“Children love
to be able to express themselves through song and dance, and with ZooMoo Groove, they can also enjoy learning about the world we live in at the
same time. We are also excited to
introduce our new talent Seth Drury to our audience as our trusted ZooMoo
Ranger,” said Catherine Nebauer, General Manager of ZooMoo Networks, Asia
Pacific.
“Seth will take
ZooMoo fans on fantastical trips to the Oceans, the Mountains, the desert, and
other landscapes as he meets our Zoomers and introduce them to their new homes and
the animals that live there,” added Catherine.
Concept behind ZooMoo Groove
ZooMoo Groove is themed
around exploration and discovery, providing children with an opportunity to
visit the eight habitats of the world. The series introduces our fun and quirky Zoomer characters that live on ZooMoo Island.
Each character has a distinct personality and ZooMoo Ranger Seth helps them
find the habitat they will be most compatible to live in.
Seth Drury is an
Australian singer, dancer, and actor. A former Australian Idol contestant, Seth
has appeared in various productions in Australia and throughout South East Asia,
as well as devised a one-man show at the 2015 Melbourne Fringe Festival to sell
out audiences.
To find out more
about each Zoomer’s personalities and the habitats that they belong in, tune in
to the premiere of ZooMoo Groove on
ZooMoo Astro Ch 619, on Wednesday, 5th April at 3.20pm, with repeats
at 7.20pm and on Thursdays at 7.20am and 11.20am.
ZooMoo Networks is a multi-media company that
owns and operates the ZooMoo channel, programming and interactive content for
children around the World. ZooMoo is a collaboration between some of the
world’s foremost wildlife filmmakers, early childhood educationalists and
technology developers. Its programming engages and entertains children with the
wonders of animals, to stimulate and develop their innate emotional connection
with the natural world. ZooMoo is available in Malaysia on Astro Ch 619.
The free ZooMoo App is available for download
from popular app stores. It is designed to work alongside the ZooMoo channel to
extend and reinforce children's learning about, and love for, the
animal world. It does this by providing children with ZooMoo Island - an animal sanctuary where they can interact with and look after up to 150 animals.
animal world. It does this by providing children with ZooMoo Island - an animal sanctuary where they can interact with and look after up to 150 animals.
The app works as a stand-alone experience, where
children can feed and look after animals, pose them for photos, watch video
clips and learn each animals name and how common or rare they are.
Experimentation and fun is encouraged so that children can learn at their own
pace, and in their own way. After the initial app download, no Internet
connection is required. The app is also totally free with no in-app purchases or
advertising.
In addition, the app is synchronized to the
broadcast. When the ZooMoo app is turned on, the channel sends original and
complimentary content to the child’s tablet. This content can be opened and
explored at any time by the child and parent. The app requires no Wi-Fi or internet
connection.
