Giant Bee Walks into a Store, buys and delivers groceries

It was truly a pleasant surprise for Tamy Chan. Little did she expect that after ordering groceries using honestbee – Asia’s fastest growing online grocery concierge service – that the groceries ordered would be delivered by honestbee’s very own oversized bee mascot.

“At first I thought it was some kind of an April fool’s joke or a prank that my friends were playing on me. Then I saw that this bee brought with it the groceries I had ordered that same day from honestbee – I knew then it was serious. It was rather unconventional, I must say, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless,” said Chan.

Chan was among the first few honestbee customers to be visited by honestbee’s mascot to have his/her groceries delivered to him/her. Over the next two weeks, lucky shoppers using the honestbee platform will not only have the opportunity to have their groceries delivered by the honestbee mascot, but also stand a chance to win either generous shopping vouchers from honestbee or have their next order from honestbee absolutely free of charge.

To be eligible to be in the running to win the freebies, customers visited by the mascot simply have to take the best snapshot they can of themselves with the honestbee mascot, uploading it onto social media platforms including Facebook and Instragram, tagging honestbee with the hashtag #honestbeeMY. Winners will be drawn at random among participants.
