Recommended Thai Food at Jaya One, Petaling Jaya

Many of my friends especially staying outstation will ask me to recommend the best authentic Thai food at Klang Valley. Being a food blogger, I always venture into different places to tried out the food there and to review and write it at my blog link here. This round, I went to Streat Thai which is located at Jaya One since I heard lots of good review on the food here.
The place is big enough and can accommodate around 100 pax. It is casual, relaxed and open-air restaurant. Their uniqueness as you can see here, there are number of stalls serving a variety of noodles, Thai salad, stir fry dishes, bbq, desserts and drinks and all these stationed is handled by Thai cooks. The food served will give you a real Thai dining experience with pork free. On every Friday and Saturday, Chill Chill with their live music.
Isaan style Som Tam platter
At the special request of their Thai customers, Streat Thai is now serving an Isaan style Som Tam platter layered with fresh papaya salad, khanom jeen (rice noodles), hard-boiled eggs topped with crunchy fried chicken skin. It is pretty decent plate with the flavours of sweet, spicy, salty and sour to perfection on a single plate. It is deliciously balanced plate of papaya salad. The dish is price at RM19.90.
Thai Style Beef Pot (Nue Mo Fai)
Thai Style Beef Pot for beef lovers as it was served while it is still piping hot. Ingredients include braised beef shank, beef ball, beef spleen, beef tendon and sliced beef. The dish is price at RM34.90. Price quite reasonable with the portions of beef meats given. Besides the Hot Pot, Streat Thai had another 2 new dishes that cook with beef.

Since I am a seafood lover, Seafood Trio with Streat Seafood Sauce is a must to have dish. Consist of big fresh prawns with la la and squids. Price for the dish is at RM89.90. Their special made sauce couple with the limes was indeed delicious and the prawns were juicy too.

For their Tom Yum Noodles, it is quite special with lots of ingredients in it. I enjoyed eating the minced chicken meat, prawn, squids and the half cooked egg and when mixed it together, it is something that I never try before and I found it to be quite delicious and will be back for this dish again. The price is at RM15.90.

As for otak-otak lovers, you should try out this Seafood Otak-Otak which had prawns and squids in it. It is not the normal otak-otak that we had and with the additional seafood, the taste was flavourful.

For kids, I recommended Streat Thai Crispy Fried Chicken Chop that served with the rice. Best to eat with their Green Curry Chicken. The price for the Chicken Chop is at RM10.90 and the Green Curry at RM14.90.

Meal will not complete with sweet desserts and the recommended desserts to have is their signature Mango Sticky Rice at RM9.90 and instead of red, they had Green Ruby with Coconut Milk at RM6.90. It is indeed refreshing to have both the dish together.

As for the drinks, do try out their Taro and Green Tea Smoothies at RM6.50 each and Fresh Coconut Smoothie at RM8.90 and the fresh Thai coconut is at RM6.90.
