Setapak Central Mall celebrates its 2nd anniversary with a list of exciting activities including A Sparkling Christmas

Setapak Central​ mall, celebrated its second anniversary recently since rebranding from KL Festival City (KLFC) in 2015. The mall, with its tagline, Setapak's Pride​ continues to promote and encompass its surrounding community with numerous activities on a regular basis. This month, Setapak Central mall closes the year with Christmas and year end celebrations in a big way. 
A Sparkling Christmas ​brings to the mall a list of exciting activities including :-
Free Christmas Mini Blocks - ​Shoppers get a set of FREE mini blocks with a minimum spend of RM350 (maximum two (2) combined receipts on the same day mall wide) * Limited to 50 sets on weekdays and 80 sets on weekends & public holidays. 

Santa’s Balloon Drop ​- ​on two Sundays 17/12 and 24/12​, shoppers are welcome to catch Santa’s balloon drop & win exciting prizes including air purifier, rice cooker and many others if they get a lucky card with the balloon. 

Free Vouchers from Cotton On - Be the Lucky Eight (8) and win RM500 worth of cash vouchers from Cotton On with a minimum spend of RM250 (maximum two (2) combined receipts on the same day mall wide). 

Besides Christmas celebrations, the mall’s Hungry Food Guide promotion wants its shoppers to Come Hungry, Leave Happy throughout the month of December. Setapak Central mall invites epicureans from all walks of life to go on a foodtrail and discover the endless dining options at the mall. From now until 31st December 2017​, shoppers will be entitled to one (1) RM10 Setapak Central Cash Voucher for every five (5) stamps collected. Each stamp will be given out for every RM30 spent (in a single receipt on the same day) in the mall’s many Food & Beverages’ outlets. Diners will also be rewarded with one (1) FREE stamp if they complete the games and activities in the Hungry Food Guide booklet. 

During a private media tour of the Christmas decor today, Setapak Central mall's Marketing Manager, Mr David Koay quoted, “We are happy to mark our second anniversary with a list of exciting activities to show our valued shoppers that we are continuously innovating to bring the best experience to them.” 

Owned by Festiva Mall Sdn Bhd and managed by Asia Malls Sdn Bhd, the mall offers a complete lifestyle shopping experience that includes alfresco dining and convenient lifestyle shopping to cater to the cosmopolitan taste of today’s discerning shoppers and changing lifestyles. 

Previously known as Kuala Lumpur Festival City (KLFC) the mall has a gross area (inclusive of carpark) of 1,054,238 sf, with a nett lettable of 494,140 sf, and this mixed development is further complimented by approximately 900 apartments that are 100% sold. 

The objectives of the re-branding campaign include creating awareness of the mall’s change in name, showcasing Setapak Central mall as an engaging shopping and lifestyle experience in the Setapak neighbourhood, positioning Setapak Central mall as an attractive local alternative to shoppers instead of traveling to KL city, providing shoppers with an edgy, fresh and lively shopping experience by incorporating new vibrant colours to the mall and to put forth Setapak Central mall's tagline, Setapak’s Pride as a customer centric focus. 

Showcasing over 250 brands and 230 retailers from shopping, dining to entertainment, the mall is anchored by three major tenants – Parkson Department Store, MBO Cinemas and Econsave plus international brands, H&M and Cotton On. The mall attracts a mix of local and international brands including key retailers all delivering a compelling combination of quality and value.
