A PAWSPEROUS NEW YEAR WITH TV’S FAVOURITE CHARACTERS!

~Chase and Marshall of PAW Patrol joins in the celebration at Sunway Lagoon~

Bringing “pawsperity” to Sunway Lagoon this festive season are the two heroic characters, Chase and Marshall of PAW Patrol, who will be making an appearance at Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon! A total of 14 underprivileged children from Love Eternal Charity Association also had the opportunity to enjoy a day out with a fun lineup of the PAWsperous New Year activities.
Some items in store this Chinese New Year at the theme park from 16th to 19th February include the lively Chinese New Year Parade at Zulu Walk with lion and dragon dances accompanied by Chinese drums, Chinese New Year Showcase at Mali Cove Stage with multiple performances from martial arts to fan dance, and Prosperity Tree at Carousel Stage where guests will be given ‘lucky coins’ to toss for good luck, good health and lasting prosperity. A total of 1,000 pieces of Ang Pau packets and oranges will also be distributed to guests upon arrival at Sunway Lagoon during the Meet & Greet with God of Prosperity: Toss to Prosperity.

Bringing the celebration from Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon (NLL), a special Meet & Greet with Chase and Marshall of PAW Patrol will come with goodies such as PAW Patrol tattoos, fortune cookies and activity cards given to guests. Put the little ones to the test in the interactive Pup Tag Hunt at Explorer’s Campsite, NLL where kids are required to search for pup tag signages located around the area to complete the activity card.

Other exciting shows are the Thumbuakar Fire Performance, with thrilling fire acts and traditional bamboo pipe dances, the entertaining Swashbuckling Pirates Show, as well as Sunway Lagoon’s original production – The Tale of Mount Berapi.

There are more reasons to celebrate with Sunway Lagoon when guests participate in the Gifts of Prosperity ‘Huat! Huat! Guests will have to spend RM150 and above (retail, tube rental, lockers and F&B) in the same day and submit their combination of receipts and entry forms at the Nickelodeon Store (Sunway Lagoon main entrance), Sahara (Zulu Walk) or Surf Haven (Surf Beach Entrance).
The festivities will also see 21,000 various prizes up for grabs with the “PAW”sperous Sure Win Lucky Dip contest. By spending RM50 and above on PAW Patrol merchandise, submit the receipt as proof of purchase (one receipt is valid for one lucky dip prize) at the Nickelodeon Store (Sunway Lagoon main entrance) to be entitled to participate. Prizes can be collected at the Nickelodeon Store or Lost Raiders Store at NLL.

The Kid From The Big Apple Held its Official Original Soundtrack Launch

Three Pictures Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian award-winning production company renowned for the 2016 hit film, The Kid From The Big Apple, held its official original soundtrack launch recently at Setiawalk, Puchong. This makes them the first in the nation to execute such a concept of having an album launch specifically for a film.  The newly released album consist of a compilation of the theme songs, background scores and other audio tracks in Mandarin and English. These songs are from both the first film as well as the upcoming sequel, which is set to hit cinemas nationwide on November 16, 2017, followed by other countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.  Titled “Togetherness,” the album gives fans a unique chance of hearing a preview of the songs in the upcoming sequel as well as reliving some of the hit songs from the first film.
