Month-long KidZania SportZ football-themed activities and more to spark the passion for Football


The biggest football event of the year is just around the corner, and KidZania Kuala Lumpur welcomes fans to a football haven for Malaysian kids! From 9 June to 8 July, KidZania SportZ 2018 initiates the joy of playing football and celebrates the world’s most popular game. Activities range from daily sessions of futsal, foosball and table-top football phenomenon Subbuteo, while highlights include special appearances from the Malaysia Blind Football Team and an exclusive workshop led by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) Grassroots team.
Families who visit KidZania Kuala Lumpur will be able to learn more about Blind Football and try scoring goals while being blindfolded in a special session with Malaysia Blind Football Team, and join football experts from FAM Grassroots as they provide an exclusive coaching session at the establishment.

“With the current spotlight on football, it’s the perfect time to get kids excited about playing sports and being active,” said Shahrul Nizar Ahmad, Mayor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur. “Sports is more than a healthy pastime, it improves coordination, builds confidence and helps develop social skills. Games can also teach kids about cooperation and teamwork; these are important aspects of growing up and we are proud to present ‘KidZania SportZ’ for the second time, giving children more opportunities to ‘Learn Life Today’.”

 Other Football-themed Highlights at KidZania SportZ 2018:
·     Futsal: Practice dribbling skills in a 2V2 match, or try to score a goal while blindfolded!
·     Foosball: This intense game puts hand-eye coordination to the test. Great for all ages!

·     Football Video Game: This virtual challenge brings the game to life in a different way!

The Kid From The Big Apple Held its Official Original Soundtrack Launch

Three Pictures Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian award-winning production company renowned for the 2016 hit film, The Kid From The Big Apple, held its official original soundtrack launch recently at Setiawalk, Puchong. This makes them the first in the nation to execute such a concept of having an album launch specifically for a film.  The newly released album consist of a compilation of the theme songs, background scores and other audio tracks in Mandarin and English. These songs are from both the first film as well as the upcoming sequel, which is set to hit cinemas nationwide on November 16, 2017, followed by other countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.  Titled “Togetherness,” the album gives fans a unique chance of hearing a preview of the songs in the upcoming sequel as well as reliving some of the hit songs from the first film.
