Shopping Spree Contest at Setapak Central

Last Saturday morning at 9 a.m., I reached Econsave, Setapak Central, a family friendly neighbourhood mall located along Jalan Genting Klang, to attend their first Shopping Spree. The contest which was held from 20 July till 20 August 2018 gave the opportunity to 5 selected winners to grab their desired groceries worth up to RM1,000 in 3 minutes time.
To make the contest more exhilarating, an additional RM200 will be given to the first participant who can come back with their groceries before the 3 minutes end.
"This shopping spree is one of our mall's iconic event and we will consider turning this into an annual contest. The purpose of this event is to create a shopping rush mood for the shoppers in a fixed period of time and to feel the excitement in taking as many items as they want," commented Mr Tan Thiam Sing, Centre Manager, Setapak Central.

Winners were selected amongst the shoppers who had entered the contest with a mall-wide purchase of RM300 in a maximum of 3 same-day receipts. 5 winners have been selected from this lucky draw contest to participate in the shopping rush at Econsave, Setapak Central Mall but end up only 4 winners had turned up to join the fun. 
Special thanks to Setapak Central's partner, Econsave for sponsoring the prizes for this event. Not only winners able to join the shopping rush, bloggers and medias too had join in the fun with 1 minute given.

Setapak Central or previously known as KL Festival City (KLFC) is the mall that I used to went when I studied at TAR College. It hosts a wide variety of shops, cafes and restaurants  which complete my lifestyle shopping experience. With over 250 brands and 230 retailers, from shopping, dining to entertainment, the mall is anchored by three major tenants, Parkson Department Store, MBO Cinemas and Econsave. It is indeed a great retail shopping experience for children and adults.

We enjoyed shopping at Setapak Central Mall coz' the mall is comfortable and spacious with lots of choices in a roof and groceries at Econsave is offered at a lower prices and the products there are fresh. We could save a lot and Setapak Central always had contest to rewards all its customers. The contest on-going now is the "Reminising the Past Mid-Autumn starting from 24 August till 24 September 2018". There are activities such as the Pomelo Eating Contest for adults to win some dim sum vouchers and Lantern Parade for kids on 23 September 2018.

The Kid From The Big Apple Held its Official Original Soundtrack Launch

Three Pictures Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian award-winning production company renowned for the 2016 hit film, The Kid From The Big Apple, held its official original soundtrack launch recently at Setiawalk, Puchong. This makes them the first in the nation to execute such a concept of having an album launch specifically for a film.  The newly released album consist of a compilation of the theme songs, background scores and other audio tracks in Mandarin and English. These songs are from both the first film as well as the upcoming sequel, which is set to hit cinemas nationwide on November 16, 2017, followed by other countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.  Titled “Togetherness,” the album gives fans a unique chance of hearing a preview of the songs in the upcoming sequel as well as reliving some of the hit songs from the first film.
