Charity homes treated to their best school holiday ever at Sunway Lagoon

JOLLY GOOD FELLOWS FULFILL CHILDREN’S WISHES

Schools may be on break for the month, but that does not stop the fun and learning process, as 200 children from Sri Pandian Home, Rumah Kebajikan Darul Ehsan, Rumah Amal Al Firdaus, Agathians Shelter, and Rumah Kanak-Kanak Angels were welcomed to Sunway Lagoon. This was yet another year end festive Social Responsibility programme organised by Sunway Lagoon in collaboration with the Sunway Group.
The Best Day Ever kicked off with a Wacky Christmas Boogie welcome dance, followed by a group photo with Sunway Lagoon’s celebrity couple – Captain Quack and Lady Quack. The momentum of the day continued to build up with a walk on the wild side where the children went on an educational Wildlife Encounter tour of the Wildlife Park, getting up close and personal with over 150 species of animals and the much awaited, Multi Animal Show at the Wildlife Theatre.

Magendaran Marimuthu, Assistant General Manager of Sunway Lagoon said, “With every campaign, we commit to bring our best to the table to make our visitors have an enjoyable time. We never rest on our laurels and will continue delivering the Best Day Ever experience no matter what the occasion. And now, we have one of our biggest seasons of the year – a season to give and a time to bond with loved ones. Here is where we see an opportunity to fulfil wishes and bring barrels of fun in our Wipe Out Wonderland at Sunway Lagoon!”

Whilst lunch was being served, Mr Magendaran presented the kids with gift bags sponsored by Sunway Group in preparation for the approaching new school year. The children then spent the rest of the day exploring Sunway Lagoon which offers over 90 rides and attractions across 6 themed parks.

For those looking for an amazing time during New Year’s Eve, Malaysia’s first-ever Glowtopia Festival will be happening at Sunway Lagoon, coming all the way from the USA! Visitors can look forward to a plethora of glow-in-the-dark activities including the notorious Blacklight Slide, the intensely fun Glow Battle Zone, live performances, and a breath-taking fireworks countdown show to honour the spirit of the new year. The festival is open to public aged 7 and above with tickets available from RM89 onwards.
