Sunway Theme Parks and Zoo Melaka kicked off their strategic partnership on animal conservation with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony in regards to the exchange of animals between the two parties.  To begin this strategic partnership, one female giraffe from Zoo Melaka will be transferred to Sunway Theme Parks’ establishment, Sunway Lost World Of Tambun under breeding loan with the hope that it will breed new bloodline of giraffes and to increase the number of giraffes in the world. In return, Sunway Theme Parks through its establishment, Sunway Lagoon will be loaning White Tiger to Zoo Melaka.  Mohd Rafee Bin Ibrahim, Yang Dipertua Majlis Perbandaran Hang Tuah Jaya said, “This MOU signing is the first step by both parties in upholding the animal conservation effort currently undertaken by both Zoo Melaka and Sunway Theme Parks. I sincerely hope that this effort will be the catalyst for other institutions to work closely together towards the same goal”.
