Sunway Lagoon reached out to 980 children to promote 3Rs elements through edutaining programme

Sunway Lagoon recently collaborated with Pelangi and Q-dees Kindergarten for its Phase 1 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Education Reach Out programme. The initiative aimed to provide an early learning experience for pre-schoolers on effective waste disposal as part of Sunway Lagoon’s commitments to support the SDG Goals. A short briefing was provided by the Sunway Lagoon team at the commencement of the event to enlighten the pre-schoolers on the 3Rs elements and its contribution towards reducing pollution and conserving natural resources, landfill space and energy. Bhd. has kick-started its Syawal charity campaign, ‘Anda Pam, Kami Derma’ to support the National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia (NKF). For every litre of petrol pumped at Shell stations in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan on weekends starting from 15 June 2019, 315 Shell retailers will channel 1 sen (RM0.01) to NKF’s fund towards supporting underprivileged dialysis patients, as well as purchasing new dialysis machines for NKF’s dialysis centres.
