Boomerang Programming Highlights - February 2020

To celebrate our favorite cat and mouse duo turning 80, Boomerang (Unifi Channel 555) is hosting a Tom and Jerry Takeover! From 4 January 2020, Boomerang is airing Tom & Jerry marathons from 12.30pm & 8.30pm on weekdays and action-packed movies from 5.30pm – 9.30pm on weekends throughout the month.


As we zoom into the second month of 2020, Boomerang wants you to buckle up and get ready for the ride of your life as Wacky Races returns with its brand new episodes. An adrenaline rush is guaranteed provided if you catch these thrilling episodes every weekend from 1 February onwards @ 11.30am.

Lastly, Boomerang is serving up the love this Valentine’s Day with heart-warming episodes of Tom and Jerry, Scooby-Doo, Mr. Bean and New Looney Tunes. Tune in to the channel to watch these heart-warming episodes on 14 February, Friday, from 11am to 3pm.

To celebrate our favorite cat and mouse duo turning 80 Boomerang is hosting a Tom and Jerry Takeover! From January 4th, weekday series marathons plus weekend movies will be running throughout the whole month.

The iconic cat and mouse rivals, Tom and Jerry, take a fresh look on the classic series. Preserving the look, characters and sensibility of the original, the all-new episodes shine a brightly colored, high-definition lens on the madcap slapstick and never-ending battle that has made Tom and Jerry two of the most beloved characters of all time.

Each episode features Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse plotting against each other in their traditional suburban setting, as well as additional storylines where their rivalry is set in more fantastic worlds.

WACKY RACES | BRAND NEW EPISODES
Weekends, from 1 February at 11.30am

Buckle up and get ready for the ride of your life as Wacky Races returns with brand new episodes. Once the engines are started, the fun begins, and the laughter takes off with your favorite racers and their wacky cars. Penelope Pitstop is from the south who, with her charm and intelligence, is a great racer with a huge heart and often stops to help her fellow competitors. Her best friend, Peter Perfect, drives in the Turbo Terrific with his huge ego and super positive attitude. Not far behind them is Dick Dastardly and his henchman Muttley who are determined to win the race, no matter the cost. Join these familiar faces as they take on new adventures in bizarre and exotic locations.

The Kid From The Big Apple Held its Official Original Soundtrack Launch

Three Pictures Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian award-winning production company renowned for the 2016 hit film, The Kid From The Big Apple, held its official original soundtrack launch recently at Setiawalk, Puchong. This makes them the first in the nation to execute such a concept of having an album launch specifically for a film.  The newly released album consist of a compilation of the theme songs, background scores and other audio tracks in Mandarin and English. These songs are from both the first film as well as the upcoming sequel, which is set to hit cinemas nationwide on November 16, 2017, followed by other countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.  Titled “Togetherness,” the album gives fans a unique chance of hearing a preview of the songs in the upcoming sequel as well as reliving some of the hit songs from the first film.
