Cartoon Network Programming Highlights - February 2020

Cartoon Network (Astro Channel 616) has lined up some fun-tastic new shows and brand new episodes of your favourite cartoons this February! First up, our favorite 10-year-old hero, Ben 10 is back with brand new episodes. To celebrate the new superhero episodes, Cartoon Network will be bringing Ben 10 to your screens this month starting from 22 February, weekends @ 9am.

The channel will also be airing a brand new special of Darwin’s Yearbook, starting from 8 February, every weekend @ 11am and OK K.O. Sonic Crossover on 2 February, Sunday @ 9.30am. Cartoon Network not only just brings endless fun to everyone’s life, it is also here to give an ultimate solution for kids who the best at procrastinating their homework! Try this no-nag strategy to help them complete homework by allowing them to binge-watch The Big Three, only if they can finish their homework in time. The show will be aired on weekdays at 3pm, commencing from 3 February. 

Families can also enjoy all the chases and near captures in the brand new shorts of Lamput – a slapstick comedy series, an International Kids Emmy nominee, starting from 22 February, weekends @ 11.25am. When it comes to good old-fashioned entertainment, you can never go wrong with watching your favourite classic cartoons. This February, Cartoon Network Classics is featuring some of the most notable cartoon series, showcasing the best-loved characters that kept us chuckling in the nineties and beyond on weekdays, 10pm, from 3 February onwards.

Lastly, to celebrate the leap day that comes every four years, Cartoon Network is hosting an epic movie block of CN’s biggest show movies – A Leap In Time on 29 February, Saturday @ 11.30am.

BEN 10 | BRAND NEW EPISODES
Starts 22 February, Weekends 9am

The incredible Ben, along with his cousin Gwen and Grandpa Max, set off in brand new heroic adventures all over the world. From Italy to Japan and Mexico the alien fighting threesome take on action-packed battles with some of the most super-charged villains.

While on their adventures, Ben and Gwen learn a rumor of an alien invasion happening at the park they are camping at. As they begin their investigation, they discover a reserve containing a host of mutated creatures engineered by Animo! With the unexpected help of Kevin 11 and his family, Ben proves that the rumors are false, and that truth is stranger than fiction!

Catch all the brand-new superhero fun this February on Cartoon Network.



DARWIN’S YEARBOOK | BRAND NEW SPECIAL
Starts 8 February, Weekends 11am

As Darwin sets off to create the Elmore Junior High Yearbook at the request of Principal Brown, he enjoys a look back at some of the best ever moments from the series. Each of the six special episodes focus on a different character from school, including class clown Banana Joe, the teleporting ghost Carrie, and even the teachers of Elmore Junior High, as Darwin is set the task of determining which teacher is most deserving of a precious slot in the class yearbook.

As Darwin seeks to fill the pages of the yearbook with photos of his friends, he soon realizes that these things are never that simple. But, with the help of his friends, their “Elmore Plus” accounts and the internet, Darwin might just be able to complete his yearbook adventures.



OK K.O.! SONIC CROSSOVER  | BRAND NEW SPECIAL
2 February, Sunday 9.30am

Get ready for a crossover of epic proportions as world class hero Sonic the Hedgehog visits Lakewood plaza and teams up with local hero K.O. to save the day.

The one off, one hour special also includes five back to back episodes of OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes.

THE BIG THREE | BRAND NEW PRIMETIME BLOCK
Starts 3 February, Weekdays 3pm

It’s back to school time and Cartoon Network is bringing the afternoon entertainment to your screens. The three highest-rated shows on the network will be aired every afternoon. So drop your school bag, take off your shoes and settle in for epic episodes of Teen Titans Go!, The Amazing World Of Gumball and the loveable We Bare Bears every school day afternoon.

Teen Titan’s Go! features the hilarious adventures of Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy. They're superheroes who save the day, but what happens when they’re not fighting crime?

The Amazing World of Gumball follows the misadventures of Gumball, a twelve-year-old cat. With the help of his best friend Darwin, he gets into all sorts of antics.



LAMPUT | BRAND NEW SHORTS
Starts 22 February, Weekends 11.25am

The Emmy nominated slapstick comedy series, Lamput, comes to Cartoon Network this February.

Lamput is a gooey orange substance that has escaped from a secret laboratory. The two mad scientists, Specs Doc and Skinny Doc, are on a furious mission to try and recapture him. But the ever changing, master of disguise - Lamput - manages to trick the scientists by hiding in plain sight and avoiding capture.

CARTOON NETWORK CLASSICS  | BRAND NEW BLOCK
Starts 3 February, Weekdays 10pm

Cartoon Network goes old school! Join us in this unmissable monthly event showcasing our best loved characters that kept you chuckling in the nineties and beyond! Revisit the past or become a new fan with Dexter’s Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Grim Adventures of Bill and Mandy and more!

From Nowhere, USA - a hotbed of paranormal activity - emerges Courage the Cowardly Dog, an unlikely protector facing formidable foes with fainthearted ferociousness. Don’t miss out the first ever season of Courage the Cowardly Dog this February.



A LEAP IN TIME | SPECIAL STUNT
29 February, Saturday 11.30am

It only comes around every 4 years!

To celebrate February 29, Cartoon Network is hosting an epic movie block of CN’s biggest show movies.

Kicking off with Regular Show Movie, we join high school slackers Mordecai and Rigby in their quest to save the universe from a Timenado.

Next, we leap into Adventure Time’s Come Along with Me.  The fate of Ooo is revealed to two adventurers in the distant future, Princess Bubblegum gathers her allies while Finn searches for a way to prevent the coming Great Gum War.

If this still isn’t enough, we finish off with Steven Universe The Movie. Steven and his friends will overflow with more new songs and music than ever before. Steven thinks his time defending the Earth is over, but when a new threat comes to Beach City, Steven faces his biggest challenge yet.
