Holiday Trip to Gloria Residences Ion Delemen Genting Highlands

Last weekend, I brought my kids to Gloria Residences to witness the Viper Challenge which was held at Gloria Residences Ion Delemen Genting Highlands. While we were there, we check-in to the serviced residences. This is our first time been to the Gloria Residences and will be sharing our experience at this post.
There are a total of 332 elegantly decorated serviced residences from studio to 4-bedroom penthouse. The penthouse is very spacious and have a big balcony and suitable for big family who opt for a short getaway from KL. Gloria Residences is just 45 minutes from KL City Centre, 90 minutes from KLIA and 9 minutes from the Genting City of Entertainment and First World Plaza. Located 6000 feet above sea level and surrounded by one of the world's oldest rainforests, we could enjoy the cool atmosphere staying at here.
We check-in on last Friday and check-out on Sunday. Staying at 3-bedroom at Gloria Residences, our residence is spacious, clean and the most important is it is so comfortable to stay especially with kids around. Me and my wife had the master bedroom with attached bathroom, my girl and my youngest son choose a 2 single bed and my 2 sons choose a queen size bed. Nice right ? After seeing our unit, let me bring you a tour to the hotel facilities. They have a heated in-door swimming pool open till 10 p.m. daily. Since it is heated and in-door, no worries our kids will get cold and they could swim even at night. There is Jacuzzi, Sauna Room which is inside the toilet and a Fitness Gym.

If you have kids, then I'm sure they would love to go to the Hotel Kids Club. It is indoor playland and complimentary for all the hotel guests. While my kids were playing, I could took a short nap at the sofa. Ha ha ha !!! 

Flying Fox, Challenge Course, Nature Walk and Rock Climbing activities are available at our hotel but subject to minimal charge and the weather too. Since it is raining daily at the time while we were there, we unable to try it out even though my Little Angels would love to join the challenges. Perhaps, we should try it next round at our next trip to Genting. It looks fun and exciting.
The hotel provided free shuttle service to and from First World Hotel daily. You can scan and download the MyTourism App to check the hourly schedule and book your seats through the App. We took 4 p.m. bus and back to Gloria Residences at 8.15 p.m. We shop at Sky Avenue Shopping Mall and have our dinner there. We wanted to sit the rides at Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park but due to times constraint, we opt to enjoy it at our next trip but there are so many changes at Genting now as compare to 2 years back.

The hotel provides 12 meeting, function room and outdoor garden venues of various sizes to cater extensive scale of special events and meetings. Their team will ensure all occasions are well-planned, organised and memorable.
What to eat at Gloria Genting Highlands ? All the rooms come with free buffet breakfast but if you want some special and unique dining experience with your love one, then do head over to Dinetopia to have a ‎360° Cinematic Dining Experience. A unique 3-Course culinary journey interpreting the perfect blend of art, gastronomy and multi sensory projection technology. 
Our 3-course Magical Dinner comes with a starter, the Mango Salad with Blun Nam Dressing and Romance Lettuce. Our main course is Chicken Roulade with Caramelized Onion served with Ribbon Acar and Assam Pedas and for dessert, we have Deconstruct Tiramisu Infused with Sour Plum. Price starting from RM180 nett per person. 


While me and my wife enjoying our fine dining experience at Dinetopia, my kids enjoyed their yummylicious salted egg squid and herbal chicken soup at Kembali Kitchen. Beside serving ala-carte dinner, Kembali Kitchen do serve buffet lunch and dinner.
If you're looking for a great place to take photos while enjoying your tea time session, then head over to Level 7, Fairy Tales Cafe to have the Hi-Tea Set. The Hi-Tea set served some desserts, pastries and tea. Besides that they have ala-carte menu for starter, soup, main course and desserts for us to enjoy our meal at the flowerish gardens.

The Kid From The Big Apple Held its Official Original Soundtrack Launch

Three Pictures Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian award-winning production company renowned for the 2016 hit film, The Kid From The Big Apple, held its official original soundtrack launch recently at Setiawalk, Puchong. This makes them the first in the nation to execute such a concept of having an album launch specifically for a film.  The newly released album consist of a compilation of the theme songs, background scores and other audio tracks in Mandarin and English. These songs are from both the first film as well as the upcoming sequel, which is set to hit cinemas nationwide on November 16, 2017, followed by other countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.  Titled “Togetherness,” the album gives fans a unique chance of hearing a preview of the songs in the upcoming sequel as well as reliving some of the hit songs from the first film.
