Boustead Properties Gives Back to Underprivileged Families for Hari Raya Haji
Hari Raya
Haji is a special time to convey gratitude and express compassion for others.
Commemorating the occasion, Boustead Properties Berhad and its subsidiaries,
the Curve, eCurve and One Cochrane Residences, gathered together to give back
to over 60 underprivileged families from the surrounding community.
The
corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative saw Boustead Properties Berhad
and its subsidiaries distributing groceries and care packages to the residents
of Pelangi Damansara flat in Petaling Jaya, in a bid to help ease the
burden.
Gina Long
Ahmad, Acting General Manager of shopping mall division said, “It is a
privilege for the Curve and eCurve to be able to extend a helping hand to those
in need, particularly families who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic
and various phases of the Movement Control Order (MCO). This is all the more
meaningful during Hari Raya Haji, to make the celebrations a little brighter.
Through our ongoing CSR efforts, we are committed to continue giving back to
those less fortunate, especially within our community, as we
believe that generosity begins at home."
Ezwan
Zainal, Head of Marketing and Sales for Boustead Properties Berhad added,
“Simple acts of kindness can go a long way during this season of gratitude and
giving. We hope that this has brought joy to the families in this
community during Hari Raya Haji, a time which encourages compassion and
charity."
Mohd Saidi
bin Mat Jail, Chairman of Kawasan Rukun Tetangga (KRT), Pelangi Damansara flat
added, “The community of Pelangi Damansara is sincerely grateful to Boustead
Properties Berhad and its subsidiaries for this kind gesture. Especially during
this tough time which has affected many of the residents, these contributions
are very much appreciated."
