Fresh Beginning and Brighter Days Ahead for eCurve!

After 14 years of connecting people over meals, movies, retail sales and digital sporting events, leisure and entertainment destination eCurve is set for a transformation that will change the skyline of Mutiara Damansara. The mall’s “Lights Off” occasion on 31 March 2021 marked the start of a fresh beginning for eCurve, which is currently operated by Damansara Entertainment Centre Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Boustead Properties Berhad (Boustead Properties).

With plans for a new landmark development already underway, there is much anticipation for the urban rejuvenation of eCurve by Boustead Properties and the transformative journey that lies ahead.

Jazmi Kamarudin, Senior General Manager, Property Management and Investment, Boustead Properties, said, “Today’s special occasion is both a walk down memory lane and an opportunity to officially usher in a new beginning for eCurve as we look forward to the creation of a prominent new landmark that will inject greater livability into Mutiara Damansara. We have also taken proactive steps to engage with current tenants and to relocate selected ones to the Curve to bring shoppers the same joy and experience that are synonymous with the brand.”

The “Lights Off” ceremony saw eCurve’s loyal shoppers, employees and friends of the mall gathering to share fond memories of the mall. 

Mall management has taken measures to ensure there is seamless, uninterrupted connectivity between the Curve, the well-occupied commercial offices and the MRT Surian Station. There will be a well-lit pedestrian access tunnel for public use. The redevelopment of eCurve will see new exciting features complementing the Curve, which will continue operating as the main neighbourhood shopping mall in Mutiara Damansara.

I surely miss my moments at eCurve and hope that they will re-open soon with a new look, new brand and everything new. See you again!!!

The Kid From The Big Apple Held its Official Original Soundtrack Launch

Three Pictures Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian award-winning production company renowned for the 2016 hit film, The Kid From The Big Apple, held its official original soundtrack launch recently at Setiawalk, Puchong. This makes them the first in the nation to execute such a concept of having an album launch specifically for a film.  The newly released album consist of a compilation of the theme songs, background scores and other audio tracks in Mandarin and English. These songs are from both the first film as well as the upcoming sequel, which is set to hit cinemas nationwide on November 16, 2017, followed by other countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.  Titled “Togetherness,” the album gives fans a unique chance of hearing a preview of the songs in the upcoming sequel as well as reliving some of the hit songs from the first film.
