SJMC Recognised as Malaysia’s Hospital Company of the Year 2021 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practices Awards

(SJMC) bagged the coveted title of ‘Malaysia’s Hospital Company of the Year’ at
the recently held virtual 2021 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practices
Awards.
SJMC, part of the Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care Group, is being recognised for its excellence in three areas which Frost & Sullivan deems as “imperatives” in the digital health industry: Transformative Mega Trends, Disruptive Technologies, and Innovative Business Models.

Among SJMC’s achievements is the launch of next-generation sequencing to enable targeted cancer therapies. The hospital also launched telehealth services for patients amid the Covid-19 pandemic to give online consultations and support sessions, including speech therapists and clinical psychologists. Additionally, the hospital has the Joint Commission International accreditation and certification, which is recognised as a global standard for superior quality of healthcare and patient safety.
